A look back at 2022
Hello to all of my wonderful clients!
I wanted to get in touch to thank you for being part of what has been an amazing year for me, and tell you a little bit more about what I’ve been up to. 2022 has been full of highs and lows, struggles and triumphs. To name just a few of the highs, I’ve loved photographing families and weddings up and down the country, I briefly returned to my role capturing families and watersports for CE Photo in Greece:
and I had the privilege of playing along with a surprise marriage proposal in Cambridge:
Outside of work, Jess and I improvised a road trip across the channel and down to Bruges, then up to Rotterdam and Amsterdam. We achieved a full house of UK visits this year too, having made journeys to Wales, Ireland, Scotland and more around the UK too.
Fracturing my ankle at the start of Summer has definitely been a low point of the year, and resulted in me being unable to work for four weeks. Whilst it was lovely having Jess waiting on me, hand a foot, the novelty wore off pretty quickly and I just wanted to get back to shooting. I haven’t been able to play football since the injury either, however, it has helped me to fall in love with cycling again which is much easier on the ankle, and I’ve even got Jess hooked too which is a lovely bonus!

Albums & Prints
Loxely Colour have been my album and print supplier of choice for the past few years; their print quality and craftsmanship are simply fantastic and their customer service team are always great to work with, ensuring my orders are always prompt and without any mistakes. Recently I invested in a variety of album samples, catering for different budgets and showcasing a variety of album styles. I’m so pleased with the results and am looking forward to creating even more prints and albums for my clients next year.

Wedding Drone Photography
After an upgrade in equipment, I’m now thrilled to be including Drone Photography in my wedding packages.
Flying has been an exciting journey for me over the past 6 years, with over 400 commercial and recreational flights. It’s allowed me to capture scenes previously only imaginable with a brand new perspective, however, they also often left a desire for better image quality. Comparing images from my drone to my handheld camera, I wasn’t confident in the results to be able to offer them as part of my wedding packages; however, after this summer’s investment, I’m now confident that I can capture stunning images that will look great in print, seamlessly alongside my handheld photos at weddings.
